Can the calibration targets be adjusted?
During the touchfoil™ setup, the calibration points could be outside of the touchfoil’s active area.
This could be the case in a rear projection or in display installations when the touchfoil is significantly smaller than the projected or the display area behind the touchfoil. In these scenarios, the calibration points can be adjusted and moved within the active area which will make calibration possible.
Based on the product variation the process varies:
New Generation products (AXX & BXX) using controllers (9279 & 5+2)
Open the SU-MU touchfoil™ Configuration software and select “Calibrate”
The calibration area can manually be resized by moving the thick blue borders to match the desired position. When these are set, click on the Start Calibration button to start the calibration process. The targets will appear within the predefined area.
Reset Active area: resets to default
Start Calibration: starts calibration once the modified calibration area is set
Cancel (esc): exits the calibration routine and returns to the application’s main screen
(Keyboard Esc button can also be used)
Open the SU2-80 touchfoil™ Configuration software and follow the wizard or select “Calibrate”
The calibration area can manually be resized by moving the sliders to match the desired position. When these are set, press on the first target to start the calibration process. The targets will appear within the predefined area.
