How to clear Windows calibration data
Most Windows OS comes with touch functionality features available.
Some OEM Windows Embedded versions often exclude these components while in some cases the functionality just needs to be enabled under the Windows features (Tablet PC Components).
In addition, Windows provides a utility for calibrating digitizers and touch screens available under Control Panel / Tablet PC Settings.
When running the Windows calibration routine, Windows produces and stores in its registry calibration information related to the specific touch device.
If such calibration data are present in the system, they might suppress/ conflict with any calibration data coming from the touchfoil controller.
It is recommended to clear/reset these data before proceeding to the touchfoil calibration using the touchfoil configuration software.
