Visualplanet Interpreter – End of Sale & End of Life Notice

Note: There is no active development on this product.

Visualplanet announces the End of Sale (EoS) and End of Life (EoL) dates for the Interpreter, which forms part of the media player compatible touchfoil™ product variant. The last day to order the affected product is April 30, 2014. Customers possessing the Interpreter product will continue to receive support on this product until December 31, 2014.

Product warranties will be honored for their duration (regardless of the Last Date of Support listed below), however after the Last Ship Date stock will be not be replenished, and therefore may be limited. In the case that a replacement unit or repair cannot be provided by Visualplanet, either a refund will be made for the unit or an alternative product will be provided if available. Product migration options are listed below.

End of Life Announcement Date The date the document that announces the end of sale and end of life of a product is distributed to customers of visualplanet March 14, 2014
End of Sale Date The last date to order the product from visualplanet. The product is no longer for sale after this date April 30, 2014
Last Ship Date The last possible shipping date that can be requested of visualplanet and/or its channel partners. May 30, 2014
Last Date of Support The last date to receive service and support for the product. After this date, all support services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete. December 31, 2014

Product Migration Options

Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Single user or new Multiuser touchfoil™ products, which are 2 to 32 touch sensors and are HID compliant.
Please note that existing 64W and 80W touchfoils will not be compatible and customers will require a new touchfoil sensor.
